About Us

MEMBERSHIP

The Society attracts people who are interested in Tewkesbury’s architectural heritage and ensuring that it is protected and new developments fit harmoniously with it. Usually, members are interested in promoting the environmental benefits the community can enjoy by protecting and enhancing the conservation area.

Some members contribute actively by helping with a particular regular activity as a committee member or not.

Others help with a specific “one-off” project.

Some are content to be part of an organisation with the aims it has.

And some enjoy the Talks, Trips and other socialising activities.

All are welcome.

It helps a lot if members use Standing Orders to settle their annual membership fee, it saves both the member and officers a lot of work and cost. The Gift Aid Declaration helps financially and the Society encourages its use where possible.
