Tewkesbury Town Masterplan
|
Tewkesbury Borough Council, together with Community groups and the Town Council, produced a Strategic Framework Document back in 2012, more commonly known as the MasterPlan, which detailed how the towns landscape and development would alter over the following 15 years.
This plan was adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), This categorisation means that it adds to the strength of the arguments and visions contained therein so to better determine future developments within the town. Several key sites are singled out in the plan; Healings (Borough) Mills, Back of Avon, Spring Gardens and the site behind Morrisons known as the MAFF site. These sites may or may not be developed in the short or long term but the SPD MasterPlan helps ensure that any development conforms to an agreed vision. |
