Activities
TRIPS
Once a year (normally) we organise a trip away to a place of interest to members. People have a choice of taking a seat on a minibus or using their own transport.
Over the years we have visited such places as Bristol - SS Great Britain and the Dock Basin, Bath, Litchfield, Kelmscott Manor, Bewdley and the Severn Valley Railway, Hellens and Westons Cider Mill, Stratford on Avon, Tyntesfield, Berkeley Castle and Dr Jenner’s House, Deerhurst Church and Odda’s Chapel, Chastleton House, Bletchley Park, Stanway House, Gloucester – Blackfriars, Hidcote, Owlpen Manor.
Our trip last year was to Avebury Henge and Manor which was wonderful and this year, 2020, we were due to visit Madrasfield Court near Malvern! The pandemic put a stop to that but we hope to make it in 2022.
